Join colleagues from across maternal medicine, cardiology, midwifery, anaesthesia and related specialties for two days of expert updates, complex case discussion and multidisciplinary learning.

This year’s programme will explore maternal medicine bundles, heart failure in pregnancy, aortic dissection and practical approaches to caring for pregnant women with cardiac conditions.

Submit an Abstract

UKMCS is inviting abstract submissions for the Annual Conference 2026.

Submissions are particularly welcomed from resident doctors, nurses and midwives, and may include case studies, audits or research relevant to maternal cardiology. 

Selected abstracts may be invited for poster display or short oral presentation.

Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words and include the names, titles and email addresses of all contributors. 

Please submit abstracts to ukmcs@bcs.com by midday on Friday 11 September 2026.

  • Registration fees includes conference attendance, access to the 1 or 2 day sessions, programme, daily refreshments and lunch breaks.

  • The UK Maternal Cardiology Society Annual Conference will not be recorded or live‑streamed. This is an in-person event.

  • Your certificate of attendance will be issued two weeks after the conference. We kindly recommend that you complete the feedback form beforehand.
