We are excited to share that research driven by Dr Kailash Bhatia on Brugada syndrome management in pregnancy has successfully been published in the IJOA:

The highlights of the study are:

• Maternal and neonatal outcomes of 57 patients with Brugada Syndrome across 62 live births and two terminations were reviewed.

• Neuraxial labour analgesia rate was 35% and neuraxial anaesthesia rate for caesarean delivery was 96%.

• There were no reports of arrhythmias during labour, caesarean delivery or termination.
